The pendulum adaptive frequency oscillator

چکیده

Adaptive oscillators are a type of nonlinear oscillator that capable learning and storing information in plastic states. Here, typical mechanical pendulum is modified to have an adjustable rod length create adaptive frequency oscillator. Since the resonance function length, this allows learn encode from external source. An experimental designed constructed, its performance compared numerical simulations. This was approximated as Duffing through method multiple scales determine physical constants experiment by using curve fit. Utilizing oscillator’s dynamics, system able condition store length. causes seek resonance, even with considerable nonlinearity. As pendulums can be used harvest energy, adaptation could further exploit vibratory energy sources.

Using the Adaptive Frequency Nonlinear Oscillator for Earning an Energy Efficient Motion Pattern in a Leg- Like Stretchable Pendulum by Exploiting the Resonant Mode

In this paper we investigate a biological framework to generate and adapt a motion pattern so that can be energy efficient. In fact, the motion pattern in legged animals and human emerges among interaction between a central pattern generator neural network called CPG and the musculoskeletal system. Here, we model this neuro - musculoskeletal system by means of a leg - like mechanical system cal...

Characterization of high frequency oscillations and EEG frequency spectra using the damped-oscillator oscillator detector (DOOD)

Objective: The surgical resection of brain areas with high rates of visually identified high frequency oscillations (HFOs) on EEG has been correlated with improved seizure control. However, it can be difficult to distinguish normal from pathological HFOs, and the visual detection of HFOs is very time-intensive. An automated algorithm for detecting HFOs and for wide-band spectral analysis is des...

Frequency–driven chaos in the electrical circuit of Duffing-Holmes oscillator and its control

Accurate detection of weak periodic signals within noise and possibility of secure messaging have made Duffing oscillator (DO) highly important in the field of communication. Investigation on the properties of DO is thus ardently sought for. An elegant approach to accomplish the same is to fabricate electronic circuit simulating DO non-linear equation and to study the effect of input signal amp...
